Establish what is true.

A Technology Baseline establishes what you have, what you pay, what you are committed to, and what cannot yet be verified, at every location.

Most technology environments are not badly run. They are badly recorded.

Sample data

The NarrowGateX Technology Estate page for a demo client: locations, vendors, contracts, invoices and assets on record, then required services checked at every site across the estate, from primary internet and Microsoft 365 to hosted voice, computers and endpoint management and security, each with its confirmed, review and missing counts.
The estate as one working record, and site by site, what it cannot yet account for. Missing and unconfirmed services stay on the page as gaps.Required services checked at every site, from connectivity to Microsoft 365, voice, computers and endpoint security.
  • Locations and providers

Every site and the providers that actually serve it.

  • Services and assets

What is running, where, who provides it and what agreement supports it.

  • Contracts and obligations

Terms, dates, notice windows and commitments, tied to the services they govern.

  • Spend

Recurring charges tied back to the service, site and commercial terms behind them.

  • Supporting documentation

The evidence behind each line, attached to the record.

  • Gaps and inconsistencies

What is missing, conflicting or still assumed.

Start with what you already have.

Send us your invoices and agreements. We can establish the locations, providers, services, spend and obligations from there. What we cannot establish becomes part of the Baseline, not a guess.

  3. Technology Baseline

Nothing was hidden. It was never in one place.

Three findings from NarrowGateX advisory work, from two separate engagements. Each one appeared when invoices, contracts and locations were put in one record.

  • Real engagement

Same service. Same statement. Two prices.

The same internet service, at the same speed, from one provider, billed at $165.00 at four sites and $117.94 at a fifth, on the same monthly statement. On its own, each line raised no question. Side by side, they did.

  • Real engagement

The location closed. The bill did not.

Sites recorded as closed were still billed for connectivity and support. The closure happened in operations. The charges kept arriving in finance.

  • Real engagement

The records disagreed, and the Baseline said so.

A master agreement's original term had ended years earlier, and its services were still billing. The records disagreed on how it had renewed, and the provider's account of its terms matched no document on file. The Baseline graded the agreement Conflicting rather than pick a side.

A baseline that hides what is unknown is not a baseline.

Every fact stays tied to its evidence. What cannot be established stays visible.

Site StandardSample data

The hardest gaps have no document behind them. Each location is measured against what a site of its type should have.

Recurring Technology SpendSample data

Total withheld

Only 41% of the services on record have a price on file.

NGX won't turn a partial picture into a total.

When the documents are not enough, NGX can confirm operative facts with the provider, with your authorization.

AI workers read and reconcile the record. Your Technology Advisor judges what should be there and which gaps warrant attention.

Sized to what you run, not to a seat count.

You keep the record and receive a leadership-ready Baseline report covering what is established, what is missing, current spend and upcoming obligations.
