SMS Notifications Terms & Conditions
These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the transactional SMS notification program operated by NarrowGateX. By opting in to SMS notifications within the NarrowGateX platform, you agree to the terms below.
1. Program Description
NarrowGateX operates a transactional, non-marketing SMS notification program. These messages are sent to help you stay informed about activity, alerts, and updates within your NarrowGateX account. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. All messages are directly related to your use of the NarrowGateX platform.
2. Types of Messages
You may receive SMS notifications related to:
- Account alerts:login activity, security notices, and account status changes
- Contract & renewal reminders:upcoming expirations and renewal windows for vendor contracts
- Invoice & spend alerts:billing anomalies, invoice approvals, and spend threshold notifications
- Task & workflow notifications:assigned tasks, workflow completions, and action items requiring your attention
- Vendor updates:changes to vendor records, service status, or tracked vendor activity
- System-generated insights:platform-detected patterns or recommendations based on your data
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on user activity and system events.
You will only receive messages when relevant platform activity triggers a notification. Inactive accounts generate fewer messages. You remain in control of which notification types are enabled.
4. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Standard carrier messaging and data rates charged by your mobile provider may apply to SMS messages you receive. NarrowGateX does not charge a fee for SMS notifications.
5. How to Opt In
SMS notifications are off by default. To opt in, you must take the following steps within the NarrowGateX platform:
- Log in to your NarrowGateX account at app.narrowgatex.com
- Open your Profile or Notification / Signal Settings
- Enter your mobile phone number in the SMS notifications field
- Enable the SMS notifications toggle or checkbox
- Review the consent disclosure displayed adjacent to the opt-in control (reproduced below)
- Save your settings to confirm consent
The following disclosure is shown to the user at the point of opt-in:
"By saving your phone number and enabling SMS alerts, you agree to receive transactional text messages from NarrowGateX related to account activity, platform alerts, tasks, contracts, invoices, vendor activity, and system notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. View our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms."
SMS opt-in is explicit and requires your affirmative action. You will not be enrolled without completing this process.
6. How to Opt Out
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time using either of these methods:
- Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from NarrowGateX. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent.
- Disable SMS notifications in your account settings within the NarrowGateX platform.
After opting out, your phone number will not be used to send SMS messages unless you re-enable notifications through the opt-in process described above.

8. Supported Carriers
NarrowGateX SMS notifications are available through all major U.S. wireless carriers. Carrier availability may vary. NarrowGateX and participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. SMS Consent & Data Privacy
Your phone number and SMS opt-in consent are used solely to deliver the transactional notifications described in these terms. SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions as needed to reflect changes in our program or carrier requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of SMS notifications after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
